Today we have to announce that we have parted ways with our guitarist Jesse. For a while he has been thinking what it is that he wants to do. This has led him to realize that Medicated isn't quite the band for him anymore. He will still continue making music through his own projects. Jesse is a great guitarist and we hope all the best for him. We have to continue on our own ways but the friendship between us will remain.

Although our group is incomplete at the moment, it will not affect our process of making new music. So now we are working to get our songs ready and we will begin recording somewhere around turn of the year, as scheduled.

Yet another silent period between these updates as it has been quite busy in the normal average life of all of us.

So. Medicated is back on track and, for example, is now on Twitter.
On top of this Medicated has started to work on a bunch of new tracks and should be giving some sort of updates via Twitter and/or Facebook and/or MySpace.

It has been pretty silent for a while now. We need to break the silence.

Hello everybody. First of all we want to thank you all for voting for us in the Finnish Metal Awards. We were surprised by getting the fifth place in the Underground act category. So, thanks!
The second thing. There is a review and a 2 page article with Aleksi's interview in the newest Miasma magazine. Go and check it out!
Also, Magnum for Amen EP is now officially sold out! We don't have them anymore. Over and out!

We're glad to inform you, that Aleksi will be performing at a clinic with Matias Kupiainen (Stratovarius, Fist in Fetus).
They'll make a show worth checking out with their TC Electronics equipment.

The clinic will take part at Finnish Metal Expo on Saturday the 14th of this month.

It's been quite a while again from the last update, so, other first things first:
- Magnum For Amen EP's are now only sold at gigs. There's only a small bunch of them left. We thank everyone who have ordered it via e-mail!

Medicated is proud to be a part of a Finnish Charity tour called "Kaveria ei jätetä". The tour collects money to help the voluntary youth mental healthcare in Finland. Medicated will share the stage with Finnish metal titans Stam1na, Timo Rautiainen, Timo Kotipelto and Leverage.

Radio Rock has declared a band contest in which the best demo band will have 15 minutes of fame as the warm-up band for Slayer in Helsinki and Tampere. Of course, Medicated has taken part in this contest, and we need your help!

We're back. We're also sorry for the downtime which was caused by the service provider's bandwith limitations - there were apparently quite a few downloads for the songs. So we've changed the service provider (which means no bandwith limits), brought the site back up and everything's rolling fine!

Another thing: if you've ordered Magnum For Amen CD via e-mail and you haven't received a confirmation mail you should send a mail again. Unfortunately some mails have probably disappeared in to the web.

After the first week online the song Scream for God was second on the Top-40 chart on mikseri.net service. But on its second week (38/08) Scream for God goes for the first spot, being the most listened song of the week!

The new EP has been downloaded from Mikseri.net and Myspace almost 7000 times, and when we add the estimated number of downloads from the website, maihinnousu.net and some torrentsites we have a total of 10 000 downloaded tracks! Medicated sends out the most humble thanks to all the people who have downloaded our music and commented it around the internet. Remember that you can leave your messages to our guestbook in the contact section of this page. All the feedback is welcome!

The second thing we want to tell you is that we have confirmed our first gig after the release of Magnum for Amen. The show will take place in Rocktown Hämeenlinna on the 12th of December. So we hope to see you all there having real good time! Thank you, take care.

So it's been one week since Medicated put out the new Magnum for Amen -EP. The songs have been listened or downloaded something like 5000 times from different sites on the Internet in just one week. We are totally overwhelmed by the publicity it has got and we don't have the words to tell you all how grateful we are for the support. So a big, big thank you for everybody. We'll have the EP on CD in a week or so and that's when it all begins. The seek for a record deal and as many gigs as possible.
Also we've moved the songs to a new server so the traffic thing isn't a problem anymore.

Hello everybody. Our songs have been listened and downloaded thousands of times from different sites. We have recieved an email regarding the traffic on our website. The songs have been downloaded so many times that we are approaching the traffic limit here, sooner or later and it probably will be sooner. This could cause some troubles and we are currently going through the possible options, we may have to change the service provider. We'll do everything we can to keep the site up and songs available for you to download.

Couple of days have passed since the release of Magnum for Amen. We are positively surprised of the great attention it has got. The songs have now been listened over 1200 times in MySpace and the first song Scream for God alone has been listened over 550. Also we just found out that the song Scream for God has been chosen as the song of the week (36/08) in the Finnish Mikseri.net service. Also the Finnish metal media Imperiumi and the international Roadrunner's Blabbermouth published a little something about Magnum for Amen. Check them out here: Imperiumi, Blabbermouth.

It's been 24 hours since Medicated released the new Magnum for Amen EP. The songs have got a total of 550 listens in MySpace and the feedback has been very positive. The years work has finally come to an end. We actually started to record the drumtracks exactly a year ago. Due to schedule and technical problems it has taken this long to release what we've been up to. But it's been worth it - let the result speak for itself.
